Plant Walk with Xylia Willow, Sat. 5/18 10am

Join Xylia on a mellow loop through our coastal nature preserve. Together we will explore our diverse ecosystem and talk about native, naturalized and invasive plants. We will discuss their medicinal and energetic qualities and deepen our relationship with our often overlooked neighbors. We will get familiar with some basics of field botany, plant identification and indigenous ecology. This is not a foraging walk, so please kindly leave your clippers at home.

Please bring comfortable walking shoes, water and snacks if you need. Most of the trail is exposed so bring sun protection!

We switch monthly between Fairview and Canyon Parks. Location details come with registration.

This walk is donation based by either cash or Venmo @xyliaw
